Nerd. lol. You know what I've discovered? Despite me repeatedly stating "you know, you're using the word 'Boffin' out of context. Shame on you", people refuse to acknowledge my nerdishness. And I have a hypothesis. I don't fit the /image/ of a nerd. I don't have buck-teeth. I don't wear glasses. I turned up at the SNAP disco dressed in Karen Millen. No matter how many times I convert anti-macintosh technofools and spout babble about how 'you really should put on that proverbial happy face. It's a proven psychological fact that it'll work. If you can't change the stressor, change your attitude towards it', they won't accuse me of geekishness. lol. I have to lean in and say 'I AM A NERD. NEEERRRDDD' for them to get it. Dimbats.
hehe. That was random. ;D Ignore me.

Naw. But that disco was hilarious. Everyone kept commenting on the skirt and I was just itching to yell 'Yeah! It's Karen Millen! And look at you, puny human! You're dressed in Next and M&S! PATHETIC PERSONz00R!', but I knew that wouldn't exactly help me make friends. And they were trying to 'teach me how to dance'. Excuse me, but that's not dancing, it's wiggling. lol. I hate unchoreographed dance. It's genetic. My mum never danced in discos, and she was a professional dancer. lol. And Karaoke. They've been making fun of the people who can't sing, and then encourage me to try it. heh. I don't think so. And also, I bet i was the only one in the whole building who went to a karaoke bar in Tokyo. lol.
I oRdER YoU to enjoy expat life while you can. It's great fun when you come somewhere like here. "Heh. I spent my tenth birthday in Osaka!" "Where have I been on holiday this year...? You ready? ok: Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Beijing, Tioman, Bali, Koh Samui... what? No! Don't change the subject! I'm not finished yet!" "Diving? Your life's goal is to go diving at least once? I'm an advanced diver! Lookie! This is my diving licence..."
hehe. And that post had NO point.

That's because it's such an ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANTLY AMAZING ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME TOTALLY AWESOME STUPENDOUS STAGGERINGLY INCREDIBLE OPPERTUNITY! Wow. Spending the latter years of your education studying at the best schools available... Starting with Munich international. After that... Oxford, anyone? YAY! I mean, sure, you could achieve that at Tanglin. You could achieve that at your local state comprehensive. But it's EASIER at MIS because /they/ push /you/. Intellectual stimulation. Reaching your cognitive potential. You know, all that jazz. Education is essential.

lol. YOU KNOW WHAT FREAKED ME OUT IN TLC?!?! Artemis conducting along with the music in the Opera. MY MUM DOES THAT. SCARY. S.C.A.R.Y. He already reminds me of her! That ice/mineral water thing in TEC – my mum did that, too! THAT is FREAKY.
Sorry. Had to point that out.

LOL! Yeah... But then, there are people-with-brains-who-will-amount--to-something-in-life who might not know much about quarks. EG: people who are interested in a different field. A field that doesn't exactly require knowledge/understanding of quarks.
Sorry. I'm being weird. I'm doing that 'don't leave anyone out!'/equality thing again. So stupidly diplomatic at times...
